There's very low contrast between the shades of green. Amp up the contrast a bit. ...that's all I can really say.

You may also want to change the background colour. Maybe try a pink or purple, since blue blends with green and it makes it hard to see the sprite properly.

Thanks! I was wondering whether or not to use a different color background or not. I'll update this ASAP!

For a sprite of this size, you're using too many shades. You could easily get rid of at least one shade of brown.
