RE: Cottonee OP move to ubers
substitute is such a stupid, over distributed move

It's up there with toxic and protect on my list of moves that really should be nerfed
I mean it'd be cool if a handful of pokemon like mr.mime and kecleon got it, but honestly the way it is now with every pokemon able to learn makes the a game a stall fest beyond belief

Guy should have just used Focus Sash instead of Bright Powder. That would have saved him a lot of time with the amount of soft resetting he had to do to guarantee that Spritomb's Shadow Ball missed turn 1.

RE: Cottonee OP move to ubers
Well the only reason he needed the spiritomb to miss was to set up leech seed, and a focus sash wouldn't prevent that, plus using substitute in the first place breaks your sash.

I honestly don't think that Whimsicott needs to be moved to ubers anyway. It's not like he has any decent attacking moves. All he is is support, but I do agree on the fact that it's this guy that forces everyone in the meta to run substitute these days. But honestly all you need is to keep on attacking the sub until he dies.

The point of using Focus Sash is to survive the first attack so you can stall with Leech Seed and Substitute. Focus Sash guarantees that Leech Seed hits the first time he uses it. He's not going to use Substitute without Leech Seed being active.
