My other claims may take a while to get up. I'm going to try my hand at GBA programming. I also have two jobs and summer courses this summer, so the models I have claimed may be some of my last. I have ran into problems with two of my claims: Regice and Wailord. Wailord isn't coming out with any eyes, and Regice has the problem where he is made up of groups (see my tutorial he looks like the quadraxis model). Basically I intend to rip Regice with both 3d ripper dx and 3dvia. 3dvia will keep the proper scaling of his components, and 3d ripper dx will keep the components original coordinates. Not sure how to fix the problem with wailord, but the next model that will be uploaded will be Rayquaza, just please give me a few days Big Grin

I'm sorry for not starting mine yet. There's been a lot going on around here and I have little time to get on my laptop these days. I'm gonna try to work something out soon though because I do wanna work on these and learn how to rip with the print screen method. I also don't want to have my claims given up for someone else to take. D:

Allen, if you ever have a bit of time on your hands, could you please get in touch with me over AIM/Skype/Steam and help me get this 3DVia stuff set up? I have some 3DXML files with models, but neither Blender nor Max will import them. =(

I remember trying it a while back on Max2012, which I think was too new. Installed Max10 at that time, and I don't remember what I did. Now my Max10 seems corrupted, so I'm re-installing it before I try to re-install the plugin. =)

I'm back! The reason I'm bumping this is becaus ive been gone recovering for a long time and I dont want followers of this thread to think its dead. I'm BAAACK! Sorry I couldn't upload all my claims at once, but I ran into problems with Regice and Wailord. They shouldn't be too time consuming, but work is. I only have one model to upload right now, but it's better than nothing!

Also, I decided to leave the current claims of other users up for another couple of months or unless they don't want to continue. And I decided to make my model ripping thread in my sig my official news release thread in the first post if that's ok. I'll post models in it, but news I'll put in my first post. There's an update there now.

UPDATE:
I got regice done! This one was interesting because it had the cluster effect that can be seen in my tutorial. I couldn't rip it with 3dvia, so I tried 3d ripper dx and used the properly proportioned body from the 3dvia rip to correct scaling. It WORKED! Here it is in time for the hollidays. Also, for those of you who want to use blender to fix mapping, here's a video I found:

Well I had a looksee for Pear and it looks like all is good except Regice's .MTL file, it's got a bunch of texture paths that need to be erased. Tongue

I am almost done with Combusken and Blaziken. I have one problem with Wailord, I can't get its eyes. I can get the textures for the eyes, but I can't get the geometry that uses them. I can put it on hold and move on, upload it as is, or create a pair of squares that use the eyes. I've used all ripping programs and none of them capture the eyes.
