Analogue: A Hate Story
#1
Going with my recent inclination towards visual novels, I happened upon the demo to a game called Analogue: A Hate Story by author/developer Christine Love. Love has also published the freeware visual novels don't take it personally, babe and Digital: A Love Story.

Analogue tells story of an unnamed protagonist being sent to a ship to retrieve documents from its computer for a historical society. The story puts no focus on your character at all, though. With the help of a friendly A.I. named *Hyun-ae, you dig up old messages from various parts of the ships network and piece together the story of this doomed spacecraft.

You can download the demo for free, and I'd highly recommend it, but the full version is a steep $15. The writing quality is great, though, and the plot is intriguing and captivating. At least give the demo a spin.
