It's actually a very big argument among anime nerds since some claim it's something completely different. Kind of how you kill every person in your way in GTA and you don't actually get the urge to do it in real life.

no, the people I know irl who are bronies are as follows: one threatened to stab me with a dull plastic knife on halloween (and is disturbingly into anything involving the word "murder") while the other one is a disturbed little bugger who also probably wants to kill me for unknown reasons. I could go on about his clothing choices and his choice of not liking to use showers but they're his choices and I've got no room to judge anyone ever.

I'm pretty sure pedophilia just refers to being attracted to kids, not necessarily acting out on it.

But yeah it's kind of a touchy subject in general.

it's cool if you like something unconventional, but don't make an ass of yourself by flaunting it in public like that, honestly.

The last site I went to was full of Bronies, and some (if not most) of them weren't exactly what you'd call "tolerable". I mean, they'd practically shove it down your throats and then they'd get pissed when you started to get annoyed with it even when it was well justified. I say the show on its own is fine, (a decent show that people should watch if they want to), however its the fanbase that really sucks, or rather the majority of them.

It's like how Justin Beiber works. It's more the hype around him, and the unfathomable number of people that can't help screaming at the mere thought of him that makes him annoying, more than the person himself. Same thing with Twilight.

anyway I already said in that other topic, fan of any media that closes his/her mind to anything else and worships said media thiking that it's the most supreme thing ever are completely annoying.

there's no problem in liking something. Of course, since I was raised in a 'boys play with cars, girls play with dolls' family, I'll find really strange to see men watching My Little Pony, but whatever, that's what they like. I actually have nothing against my little pony, to be fairly honest.

It's not really my interest and when some one talks about it like it's something special I kind of get annoyed. "Oh hey I like a little girls toy franchise and you should too." sorry bub, I don't care. Like in the image I posted above, I usually make some sort of remark about it that I don't have to like it if I don't want to.

Willing to bet you in the next few year men are going to start worshiping Barbie dolls if we're going to have people like this.
