Good stuff dude. I can't really check out your custom models right now since with Rapidshare forcing me to wait it would take too long, but if you could post pictures that would be great.

Speaking of pictures, please don't put icons on rapidshare. Its a bit silly to wait 30 seconds to download a tiny picture when you can just use an imagehosting site and post it in the thread.

Edit: Not to mention I have to wait like 2 minutes between downloading files not including the 30 second download wait. If you could upload this stuff to another site like Mediafire or something in the future that would be great.

Please do if you can. There's no download wait whatsoever so IMO it beats out Rapidshare any day. Thanks in advance.

RE: alec's models
Well for one thing you'd call those edits really since they aren't completely custom. For another thing, don't take this the wrong way but they just seem a bit too simple for edits to really be put up on the site. Granted I really only looked at the Parakoopa and Bombette since I didn't want to deal with the 2 and a half minute Rapidshare wait, but if they're indicators of the rest of them in any way than I don't think I can feel right about putting them up.

fair enough, i admittedly only really put those up to make the update seem more complete after i took such a long break

Technically, that's Kokiri's Emerald, but it's certainly great to see that you're finally uploading the items now!

Well most of the items are 2d so its not surprising that he hasn't ripped many of them for this. That said, those bombchues would be cool to see.

i went to learn zelda's lulaby and i remembered how little zelda appeard in the game as a kid and decided to rip her while i was there, i also riped her diffrent eye and mouth textures so i won't have to deal with her any more, she was pretty hard to rip overal
http://www.mediafire.com/?wdm85buik2nq8qd
i also noticed that we don't have a zelda model up yet (besides sheik)

i will get a bombachu next

Awesome work, man, I'm really glad that you're doing this.

I'm a big fan of the Zelda games, especially OoT and MM, and I've been looking forward to someone ripping the models for ages, so I had to register to thank you.

I have a few suggestions/ideas too.

Although some of the items are just 2d when used (Bombs, I think, and projectiles), when you first get them, for Link's "item get" pose, there's a higher poly representation of each item that spins above him. If my memory serves, there are even 3d models like this for items like quivers and bomb bags.

Here's what I mean:

I think these models also appear in shops when you take a closer look at items they have for sale. Also, when you get a heart piece, or container, I think there are models for those.

Although they're not the models Link actually USES, they'd still be cool to see, especially as they're of a higher quality than the ones Link uses in game. For example, if you make Link take a drink of Lon Lon Milk, the glass bottle he uses is very low poly, but, when you get Lon Lon Milk from Talon, you see this: (Granted, low poly by today's standards, but still cool, and much more detailed than the model he uses to drink from.)

Something else that'd be cool to see up close are the people from the market town, as you never get to see them that well in game. The girl that chases the cuccoo, for example, and the bombchu game lady. I know the people in the market will be very low poly (Especially those groups of people at the stalls, they even animate in big clumps!), but they'd still be cool to see up close.

'Can't wait to see more!

wow thanks! i was actually planning out a series and tried searching models on the internet, i started ripping my own when i couldn't find any

I will rip more detailed item models as well, i'm pretty certain that there is also a hi-poly link for close ups/cutscenes, i'll get him too

As for the town, most of the people are very poorly looking up close, i will take your request and rip them soon, i'm pretty sure that the bowling alley lady is just a torso, i may be wrong though, the kokiri shop keeper had legs.
the people at the stalls on the other hand still haunt my dreems, they are missing Their faces!
