I think your best bet would seriously be to talk with Paul Robertson and ask him about it. He's a fairly understanding and reasonable guy.

He already said it's okay to use the one's from his LJ, but as far as ripping or redrawing, I too think it is best we should ask before posting more stuff.

I think what Dazz meant is that you should ask Paul Robertson for sheets or tilesets. Whatever sprite he kept on his computer.
