Re-working: Final Fantasy IV customs

I'm planning to redo some of my Final Fantasy IV stuff (blame it on FF After Years)

I'm planning to do two sets: one based off the SNes/GBA version of the characters and another on DS/Yoshitaka Amano's style.
My old sprites are based on the SNes/GBA and I want to improve them:



One thing that annoys me is Kain's wing, I'm going to work on it. Yang's skin contrast is going to be improved. Any more ideas?

On the DS/YA version, I did one Cecil sprite:
