That is definitely a nice practice run, good work! I've been trying to learn how to do that in photoshop but..paint tool sai is just more on par with traditional painting for me. Can't do photoshop ):
Anyway, I think you need to work on that last shade..it's too..I don't know how to word it. It sticks out too much color wise. I would suggest maybe mixing some green or ultramarine blue with that to make it more browner. That way it doesn't give off that red-ish hue.
Also, I would suggest a bit more contrast around certain areas like around the eyes, middle section of his nose, on his eyes, and near the eyebrows where that shadow is cast.
