I wouldn't recommend using Gamemaker if you want to make this. I'd recommend something a little less laughable. That said, it's got the tools if you're not particularly logically-minded, so whatever.

One thing I will say is that knowing how to make these will almost certainly not guarantee that they get done. From my experience, I used to come up with cool ideas, try to make them and then quit half way. Now I do the same, but also come up with interesting algorithms, try to find some way to implement them into a project, and then quit half way.
