I'm not gonna make things any easier by saying that I think I prefer the first one. Both are fine, but I'm a sucker for that sepia toned look.
It'd be cool to see a mocked up screenshot in that style.
Oh, and I looked through some of your old threads, this caught my eye as something cool. (Would have replied in the other thread, but it was from 2009. Had to tell you it was cool though!)
There's something very cool about your style that I'm just not quite able to put my finger on. (The image names made me laugh too.)
