Sorry if that sounded harsh but it's just that this style is overused. He can continue if he wants but I'm just saying.

And I'm not saying it will be bad, I just meant M&L is just really overused. There are alot better styles out there.

And the Link sprite looks pretty good, Black Boo. There are a few problems though: the hair should be different and slighty more detailed, different pallete for the hair(that orange is wierd), one more shade of green couldn't hurt, make his eyes more...asian, and the top of the hat should be like one pixel taller. Hope that helps.
