The first things that come off as weird are the Kratos sprites,
as they're feet and leg positions are weird and off-balanced.

Your red colours are usually lacking in contrast and are shaded like gradients (Krato's headpiece, Billy's poles, M. Bison's costume etc)
They'd fair better if you just shortened the amount of shades or increase the contrast of the darkest shade and lightest shade.
