The enemies are sharing battle animations and the icons for status changes. In these three cases it's not a problem (everybody uses the same hit effect), but it could be difficult for further sheets.

Example: Four enemies in PSX-VRAM. Hidden poses are easy to dedicate, but one or two unused battle animations/special effects... what should I do with these?

Maybe I make this too complicated, but if I make 4 sheets (Enemy 1, 2, 3, 4), who will get these animations? Every sheet?

If you want, put the sheets together by palette swaps and do them by "family." For example; http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/smariorpg/sheet/12998

Good idea, but I decided to do them by area (because I don't know in advance how many monsters are palette swaps).

I will change the enemy sheet for the East Desert Pass soon, but first I want to rip some more maps.
