didnt read thread past this post just wanted to reply to this comment

nintendo saw that the creator of travis touchdown made his 'battery recharge' animation look like he's jacking off and then proceeded to not give two shits

and then they continued to not give two shits even harder during the sequel

which leads me to believe they would continue to not give two shits in the production of a flash game being put together by a community of people who generally agree with their unwillingness to give any feces

"TEEN
Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language."

Brawl and Melee were both rated Teen. Travis can still be himself to a point without us stepping past the T rating boundary. To be honest, we COULD have the suggestive katana charge and still fall under the T rating criteria. I myself don't think we need it, but regardless. If Koopaul wants us to follow Nintendo's example, well, we actually are in this case.

Not that this game would actually be rated by the ESRB, hahaha.
Jak and Daxter games where Jak can talk are rated teen and he curses pretty frequently

RE: Travis Touchdown
I say we give it to him.

You should add Luigi's Thunderhand to Mario attack.

Ton's most wanted: Gnat Attack (Mario Paint, SNES), Chrono Cross portraits (Playstation), Time Splitters 2 Models (Gamecube, PS2), Final Fantasy 4 Models (DS)

RE: Travis Touchdown
Salutations, fair users. Being a die-hard fan of NMH and having beaten both games to death, may I weigh in with my own personal comprehensive moveset? And about the katana recharge, just have him facing away from the screen if you're that worried about censoring. Although, on second thought, it may just worsen things even further....

*Note: In NMH 2, Travis uses multiple swords in battle. Names in parenthesis are swords used for specific attack. Or...if it's too much trouble just use the same sword.
Swords:
-Blood Berry
-Tsubaki
-Tsubaki Mk-II
-Tsubaki Mk-III
-Rose Nasty
See pictures of first 3 here, Mk-III here and Rose Nasty here.

Side Smash: High Charge Attack (Bloodberry) - A quick, strong slash
Down Smash: Low Charge Attack (Tsubaki Mk-III) - A low, circular swipe
Up Smash: Low Charge Attack (Tsubaki) - Looks like he's break dancing (See Zero Suit Samus' Up Tilt, it's similar), and slashes multiple times.

Neutral B (Tsubaki Mk-II) : Charges up a deadly strike, like the ones used to split enemies in half as a Finisher. Without the splitting in half part.
Side B: Delivers a powerful, yet slow kick that stuns enemies.
Down B: Charges sword for more powah. (if you don't trash the katana recharge idea)
Up B (Rose Nasty): If you've played NMH2, it's what he does when you shake the nunchuck. He jumps up, spinning both swords, causing great damage.
Final Smash: Tiger or one of the Dark Side Modes (preferably Cranberry Chocolate Sundae).

Up Taunt: Opens cell phone, puts it to ear, nods, then closes it.
Side Taunt: Holds battle pose, and says "If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious."
Down Taunt: Sticks katana in ground(like when looking for money), and cloud of dust rises.

And there you have it! You don't have to use any of my ideas...(though that'd be cruel)...but if you want, I can help more in the future!

RE: Travis Touchdown
Mk I and II aren't in NMH2: only the Mark III (which was given a different name) and you forgot the Peony.

I think it'd be neat if Travis could switch his sword style whenever he wanted, maybe by taunting or something?

Not by taunting. Remember when we suggested that in the Custom Robo thread and no-one liked that idea? They probably wont like Travis doing it either. I don't know what else he could do it in, though.

RE: Travis Touchdown
the problem with sword style switching is that it would require at least 3 different sprite sheets. it would probably be better and more practical if he just used different swords for certain moves.

Yeah, I guess that's the best option.

Well it depends do you want easy and average or awesome and very hard?

I am neutral here, I can't say I have the right to decide. I never played the game series.

I turn into Zombie Jesus under the full moon but under the Full sun I turn into an Emo Kid.

I have a Deathnote and just wrote The Grim Reaper's name inside it. Wonder how this will play out?

RE: Travis Touchdown
unfortunately ambition doesn't get the job done. if you were willing and skilled enough to make 3 full sheets for one character, then maybe you would have a point, but i honestly doubt you or anyone else is.
