Here's a sheet of the various enemies whose sprites where different in the Super Fanicom version of the game:

Didn't knew that Actraiser got different enemies from the Japanese version. Awesome

Yep, there were a number of differences in the Japanese version. For example the action scenes were much harder, while the simulation scenes were a bit easier.
