Oh No! More Lemmings - Gameboy - 06-13-2008

Just sprucing up the old, awesome game of Lemmings.
Which head is the best?

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Phantom Killah - 06-13-2008

first is better imo

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Yoder - 06-13-2008

The first head is better, because the second makes him look too fat (or big-nosed).

I really like the style, btw.

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Gameboy - 06-16-2008

Right now I'm having trouble choosing an outline for the style. Here are some ideas I had
[Image: outlinebi6.gif]
1. Original: Thick / Black
2. Thick / Gray
3. Thin / Black
4. Thin / Gray
5. Thick/ Color
6. Thin / Color
7. None

If you have other ideas, please tell me.

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Yoder - 06-16-2008

BTW, 5 and 6 are reversed in your descriptions. Wink

The sprite without outlines could actually work if you darkened your color choice a little.

If youdo decide to outline, I'd go with the thicker one, as it provides a more M&L or PM style. The thin outline looks a little messy.

7 would be the best if it were the same size as one of the thick ones.

p.s. I love that game so much!

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Yak - 06-17-2008

Hey! You took my Idea didn't you?
Yeah I made a lemming thread too but I gotta say mine suck and your lemmings RULE!!!

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Dazz - 06-17-2008

5 is my favorite, and unlike what others said, I actually prefer the second of the heads, because that is what the lemmings actually were designed to look like rather than having a normal shaped head.

Wow, what happened here, right?
Well, I wanted to bring Lemmings back from it's roots, so I designed them to look like the original design, with the collars and all.
Please give some critz.

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - TPoe - 07-02-2008

I think It would look better without the outline still

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Yoder - 07-02-2008

I liked the old ones with the outline, but I don't think the outline works for these.

The skin tones are nice. You could try doing all 12 tribes' colors as well as the hi-lighted lemming color.

Also took out the outline.

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - Yoder - 07-03-2008

Very nice. My only complaint is that his feet make it look like he is walking slightly toward the viewer whle his head is facing exactly perpendicular to the viewer.

RE: Oh No! More Lemmings - TPoe - 07-04-2008

If I remember correctly (I havn't played it in a while) the lemmings walked with there arms flapping and floppy feet, oyurs looks more like a human walk

New walk and...

What's this? Well, instead of numbers, this will count down the bomb ability.

No, he's not humping, he's climbing.
