Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Heinze - 02-17-2009

Hi Heinze is here...

I'm planning a game called "Mario Bros: Double Adventure".Why "D. Adventure?"
Because you can team up with another character and play a stage with him, with combinations and moves.
The avaliables at the start are:
-Mario & Luigi
-Peach and Toadsworth
-Toad and Toadette
[-@Create own couple@-]

I have a mockup, but without interface, just the stage.

Now it's just an idea, because i am not a programmer, if you want to join, or make at least a base, thank you ^^

PS.: Don't want Game Maker or something like it, please, Multimedia Fusion 1/2 or Games Factory =p

Gwha!! Smile I love itt!!!
I'd so wanna make a game with this, but as you know, I'm busy with that other one. Gonna Puke Dang! This looks so awesome! Big Grin

I love the concept. I actually made a game very similar to this before, but scraped it. You could alternate from Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Peach (the Mario Party Advance sprites xD) .

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Kairos - 02-17-2009

Why not Peach and Daisy instead of Peach and Todasworth?

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Jdaster64 - 02-18-2009

^ Ditto.

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - GrooveMan.exe - 02-18-2009

As far as I know, Peach doesn't really share much of a strong relationship with Daisy, beyond them being a 'team' in Double Dash (which paired Yoshi with Birdo, so it's not the most established of canon pairing methods). Daisy is pretty much shafted in terms of allies, Luigi notwithstanding.

Also, moved to fangames. I'd suggest you become aquainted with MMF2 yourself before asking a programmer to jump in and help. No one will be willing to help you if they feel you don't know what you're doing.

ChaosBlazeX -> I saw your job at Superb Mario Bros, i play the beta everyday ^^
Placed toadsworth, because he has a better relatioship with Peach than Daisy.
Thank you everybody ^^
But like i said, it's just mock up, i going to download The Games Factory, just for trainning (If nobody appears, i'll have to work on my own)
And GrooveMan, i have MMF2 here, and have a base, but i want to test the Games Factory

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Heinze - 02-20-2009

*bump* hmm... Nobody is gonna help?

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - MeritC - 02-20-2009

My suggestion is that Daisy can still be a help on certain occasions, I think. But the final say is still up to you, Heinze.

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Heinze - 02-20-2009

I think i'll put some characters alone, and then, when you choose the *Create your team*, if you choose a second combination like Peach and Daisy, you will have the same advantages of Peach and Toadsworth combination ^^
What do you think

I'm definitely for that; good luck implementing that into your game project.

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Chdonga - 02-20-2009

I'm just curious, why don't you want it programmed with Game Maker?

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - MeritC - 02-20-2009

Good question; but like him, I'm into Clickteam products more as well. Maybe he's used to them so far.

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Heinze - 02-21-2009

Because Game Maker harder than The Games Factory or Multimedia Fusion 2...
And there is the famous Game Maker Loading Bar before start a game... Don't like it ^^

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - Heinze - 02-22-2009

Well... Nobody gonna do something for the game so... Can some moderator lock a send it do trash bin?

RE: Super Mario Bros: Double Adventure - GrooveMan.exe - 02-25-2009

Lol, we won't help so you instantly give up.

But hey, whatever. It's your game.
