How to extract .cmp/.cmpbin files?. - Sky_Volt - 10-31-2015
I've spent a good 3 hours trying to extract the files, and I've almost given up at this point, Haha

Can you upload a couple? Couldn't find any info on them but with luck they might be simple enough to make a script or program for.

Well, they're LZ11 compressed and I can decompress them. However I just realised that you're trying to rip from Kirby's Return To Dream Land, which supersmashball has already ripped plenty from. You may want to shoot him a PM to ask how he went about it, then I won't have to reinvent the wheel

You can open up the file in Every File Explorer by Gericom, and open them in BrawlBox also, so 2 methods of accessing the file's contents
