Everyone is stupid... T_T

It's almost like Fire Emblem is a popular series with lots more games or something.

So crediar (the guy who uploaded Wii U stuff long before the methods to do so were made public) just uploaded the actual sound files that were claimed to be in the 3DS version's update. It's exactly what the other guy said they were, and the IDSP sound format can't be manually created yet.

I don't know what to believe anymore. Unless this is all just a big joke with multiple people involved, that pretty much confirmed Ryu and Roy.

Thought: the 3DS Smash eShop has a Bundles section. Is it possible that Lucas is not the only fighter arriving in June?

I take back everything I said about Mewtwo. I was trying to play him extremely aggressively like my usual arsenal of characters. He's like a blend of Ness, Lucario, and Sheik; he's essentially all about waiting for the right time to deal some serious punish game.

So fun~ Heart

this.

Don't trust the internet, it always lies. But uh, trust me and my advice.

I'm not part of the internet.

If I remember correctly, Crediar was also the one who uploaded Hyrule Warriors models of DLC as much as a week before the DLC was even released, although it might have just been days. And some of the stuff people didn't even believe it was real at first, but it was pretty obvious that it was legit.

Can't say for the sound files, but I'm inclined to believe it at this point.

Yep, he was the one that gave out the files (which in turn helped me get Darunia up as the first Wii U model up on the site). He also found out that Tingle was gonna be a DLC character months before the DLC was released.

So yeah, I believe him. But at the same time, it's pretty unexpected.

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - Neweegee - 04-16-2015

So if the DLC really is true, I wonder what they'll do to separate Fire Emblem Roy and Koopaling Roy's names.

Lord Roy?
Sir Roy?
Young Lion?
Boy Roy!?

I wouldn't be surprised if they both used the same name, though.

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - Kriven - 04-16-2015

Roy Koopa.

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - sky_queen3 - 04-16-2015

I'll assume the name would remain the same. (Unless Koopaling Roy becomes Roy Koopa, but I'm not sure how that'd go down.)

I read on reddit that the Wii U version doesn't have the sound files, wonder why that is?

Mewtwo is so fun to play as. Big Grin

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - TomGuycott - 04-16-2015

I have a few reasonable theories to why the 3ds version has them and not the Wii U:

In all cases, the sound files weren't meant to remain in, and were forgotten in the data when the 3ds version updated.

One scenario is they tested them in the 3ds before the Wii U and that's why they are just there.

Another is they were tested in BOTH versions, but when cleaning up the data they forgot those files on the 3ds only.

Last theory is they made the announcer clips UNDER THE ASSUMPTION they would make this playable characters at a later time, and for one reason or another they ended up in game when they shouldn't have.

That last one is a bit far fetched, I'm more inclined to go with my middle statement.

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - SchAlternate - 04-16-2015

Man, as much as I want Roy back in the game, I just can't trust this leak. And I can stand my fellow Roy fans being so certain he's guaranteed.

I'm a Ridley fan, I've learned (the hard way) that one shouldn't get this confident about such vague information.

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - TomGuycott - 04-16-2015

As much as this is something that STILL should be taken with a grain of salt, as a Ridley supporter I can safely say that all Ridley speculation was grasping at straws and educated guesses that turned out to be wrong.

In the case of this leak, there is tangible evidence provided by credible sources putting their credibility on the line. However, all that it proves is that the sound files exist. Whether they come to fruition remains to be seen, as it is not finalized.

That's definitely true, as much as I dislike admitting it, but my point still stands. Nothing is guaranteed yet.
