Man, y'all need some Splatoon in your lives. I get that Shovel Knight is a good game but I mean... what would Shovel Night bring to the table aside from being a recent indie favorite?

A shovel.

Edit: Sorry for the microscopic post, I'm at work and somehow still getting bothered right before closing. Hit send by accident.

What he has that resonates with me is a heroic design and attitude mingled with a sense of humor (the shovel).

From a gameplay standpoint he had a wide range of basic combat abilities and has interesting relics that fit the bill nicely for special attacks.

He has a variety of colors ready to go for alts, all of which look cool to me, and to top everything off, he has a rich world and cast of characters to pull from for stages and trophies.

Don't even get me started on the music. They could pull as little as one track from the game and it would be phenomenal no matter what.

Play it safe. Stick with Nintendo characters.

Really guys, Shovel Knight...?

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - TomGuycott - 04-05-2015

I dunno, Shovel Knight really struck a chord with me on so many levels. I haven't actually voted for him to be in Smash yet (I'm finding the process almost painful to make any choice), but I would not be opposed to seeing him at all. I loved the game that much.

... Also, part of me wants to see a stage in Smash based on the Banquet Hall scene near the end of Shovel Knight. If you played it through, you know what I mean.

You finally have the chance to officially as for any video game character to be in Smash, ever, guys.

In that case... fuquest for smash.

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - [robo9] - 04-05-2015

I voted for Pichu  Shy

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - sky_queen3 - 04-05-2015

In that case, I think I will try for Banjo-Kazooie after all. (If I was to throw away a vote or two I'd also go either a pre-Skylanders Spyro the Dragon or Crash Bandicoot as that'd be all my childhood games in one game and it'd be amazing.)

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - psychospacecow - 04-05-2015

Dragon's Crown Sorceress for smash?

RE: TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|The SaltySuite Resource - SeanHicksArt - 04-05-2015

Alright screw everything I'm voting on Banjo-Kazooie seeing how there is a silver lining for them. Even been working on a "smash render" to promote for them.

No one can stop me. Full speed ahead.

it's good and all you are doing this but I'd still rather have Simon Belmont than Banjo
