In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Sengir - 12-23-2012 I posted this a while ago I think, but I don't want to dig up an ancient thread for stuff I'm just now continuing . So back in like 2011 I had this idea of a crossover game starring arcade characters (much like Wreck-It Ralph) and I used my lackluster spriting abilities to whip these up: Edit: Scrapped a lot of things, gonna go for something easier to animate. RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Virtuaboy123 - 12-23-2012 It looks fine, maybe give the joust ostrich noticeable wings. Lower the javelin also on the ostrich maybe 3 pixles. Shouldn't Clyde have a "zig-zag face" like the other two have, or is he not affected by the power pellets due to his size or just oblivious to it.(haven't seen the show) RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Sengir - 12-23-2012 (12-23-2012, 05:41 PM)Virtuaboy123 Wrote: It looks fine, maybe give the joust ostrich noticeable wings. I've been dreading the wings the javelin thing is a good idea also clyde doesnt have the zigzag face because i think he's supposed to be really kinda dumb (i'm just going of off Pacman wikia, heh) and i felt it made him look even more clueless EDIT: I updated the first post with fixed jouster EDIT 2: I added (lazily done) wings largely inspired by SMW's EDIT 3: Updated Pacman RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - OverlordNext - 12-24-2012 Several of your lines look quite jaggy and could use some smoothening. Why don't you use the shades you added for anti-aliasing? SOme shading wouldn't hurt either, those fat ghosts look really eird with that one feet blob being dark and everything else not, it makes it look like that part is far behind the otherwise flat object. You should check wing anatomy for those wings, see how they work, where they are connected to the body. The bone structure is quite similar to arms, so the front line should bend the other way. RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Sengir - 12-26-2012 Updated and removed modern ghosts in favor of easy animations... RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Sengir - 12-27-2012 New, bigger ostrich for the new, bigger jouster to ride RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Virtuaboy123 - 12-27-2012 The larger one looks a bit more like a brown swan, maybe try fixing the beak and the neck should be skinnier. RE: In a Funk: Arcade Superstars - Sengir - 12-27-2012 Updated Pacman and the big ostrich |
