Go! Go! Hypergrind? - Cemetery Hill - 08-16-2012

I'm totally curious. Have any of you heard of Go! Go! Hypergrind? It's my all time favorite game, along with several others.

I feel like it needs more people's attention. Tis a game cube game.

[MOVery Sad Edited the topic title to be more descriptive.]

Haven't heard of it, no - looks like it was only released in the US?

Care to tell us more about the game instead of just throwing the title in?
Also, I edited the topic title so it actually fits the topic~

I own it. Still sealed, lol
Bought it a couple years ago off the internet because I really liked the demo in the store but never owned it.

It's pretty much just Tony Hawk's Pro Skater except with cartoons and wackiness. It's made by Spumco, the people who made Ren & Stimpy so the game is full of toilet humor and stuff.

Good times. I never really owned it, I had it on an emulater. Not as fun. I played it at Walmart when it first came out, though. Every chance I got. This is one of the many reasons why I need a gamecube again.

So, who was you're favorite character?

Thanks, I kinda thought the title was a bit vague.

And yes, it was. Vipershark basically covered the whole thing, simpler than I could for sure.

oh

wow

Someone show this to John K, I want to see him having a heart attack

RE: Go! Go! Hypergrind? - Vipershark - 08-19-2012

Uh.
it was.

Atlus developed the game and spumco made the character designs and animations

If you're referring to spumco and ren & stimpy, spumco is john k's own company which made the pilot before selling it to nickelodeon, sooooo

RE: Go! Go! Hypergrind? - The KKM - 08-19-2012

Oh, sorry, I didn't mean it as in "you're wrong"

I mean it as in "this goes against every belief John K has in character design and yet came from Spumco how ironic"

RE: Go! Go! Hypergrind? - Vipershark - 08-19-2012

Oh, ahaha okay
I remember when it first came out I was surprised that spumco made such characters but i'm guessing atlus had a hand in it too

I think they were purposely trying to make it a bit more anime-looking though

dammit vipershark

i also own it; just not sealed. it's nonetheless in extremely good condition - manuals, inserts, everything - picked it up for only $4 at a local ma & pa store which i ironically hate with a passion.

also going off what someone else just said; yeah I think spumco did have a period where they made a few ridiculous japanese ads
it wouldve been kinda neat if spumco took an atlus staple and spumco'ized them for this game :{

prinnies in the spumco animation style :{

You must not play many video games, then.

Don't worry, I didn't mean it in an offensive way. Not trying to spark any flame wars or anything, here.
