Klonoa's webcomic to be drawn by Megaman Megamix's Illustrator - Doc Melonhead - 07-31-2012

ShiftyLook, a site that host webcomics of Namco's obscure and forgotten series, has got Megaman Megamix's author, Hitoshi Ariga, to illustrate their upcoming comic series.

Just took a look at the site itself and it's pretty decent to say the least. Though I like to know how they got a well known Mangaka to work on their latest project.

Klonoa? Forgotten? HA! You kiddin'? Half of the site's webcomics that are based on these supposed "forgotten characters" hold great nostalgic value in our hearts! Even said mangaka holds a special place in his heart with memories of Bravoman, and Xevious and Dig Dug just so happens to be my favorite pair of early bamco games!

This should be intresting.

by forgotten, I ment classic that Namco bandai intend them to remain that way and nether bother to revive them like they one that brings in the most money (Tekken, Soul Calibur, Pac-man).

I'm not even sure what Namco do besides Pac-Man anymore...

Heard about this a while ago. I believe there's also a Sonic and Megaman cross-over coming... for some reason.
There's actually a lot of interesting things in the Klonoa world (the first game is REALLY dark when you think about it) so there's plenty of cool material to delve into.

Soul Calibur, Tekken, Tales RPG series, and licensing things for Capcom to make for them.
