Now I'm going to start messing around with Ticker since he's still othering me.

It doesn't feel like its swinging its tail back and forth. You only moved a few pixels in between frames.

The tail in the animation is supposed to swing back and swing forth correct? When it swings forth, it stops at the standard tail frame. It should move much more forward than that

Go ahead and mess with it, I'm busy working on a different sprite ATM.

That walking cycle looks amazing guys, love how that turned out

I think we'll need to eventually enlargen Colliwobble regardless but until then I suggest we just focus on other sprites and see to getting more things actually finished

I tried editing your old Honeyhive sprite Kami but there were just so many things I could do with it. I tried instead redoing it from scratch though, your sprite was near perfect height so that helped alot.

We'll probably need a new sheet to put animations on eventually but for now I think it's stable size wise

Hmm..I'm not liking that tile too much.

I'll see what I can do.
I'm loving that animation. It seems oddly stiff though..his head may need some movement.

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Crappy Blue Luigi - 07-21-2012

i've never played any Banjo games, so i don't know how that guy walks in them, but crocodiles' bodies usually move up and down as they walk.

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Star - 07-21-2012

Is this too complex for the style or should I continue?

EDIT: I just made a small sample so in case it was too complex, not much of my time would've been wasted lol

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Kami - 07-21-2012

Is it using the same shades as the original?

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Star - 07-21-2012

I added the dark grey to it, but that's the only new color that I added.

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Kami - 07-21-2012

M'kay, I think it's fine, though someone should confirm it to be on the safe side.

Also star, how come you have a link to the LTTP submissions in your signiture?

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Star - 07-21-2012

Yeah, I shall wait to see what everybody in the project thinks of it first lol

Uhh..I don't know what you're talking about

You know about the second seizure induction pitcure has a link... Tongue

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Garamonde - 07-21-2012

Here I've got Buzzbomb (why do I keep choosing characters with more than two limbs) but I can't get his wings right. Help?

What I'm going for is two wings - one atop another - for each side. I didn't bother with the green "detail" on his wings because it looked too weird and confusing to try and recreate.

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Kami - 07-21-2012

Dr. Mossy wants to sprite his cousins Tongue

You should maybe try to make it a little more round(It should be kind of teardrop shaped) and take the depth into accord as well, when working with the wings, and they are a pain in the ass to work with TBH.

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - -Bwar- - 07-21-2012

Even for the style, the head looks a tad big in my opinion. Perspective also seems a bit off but that might just be my "two days straight awake" mind talking

RE: Banjo-Kazooie Sprite Project! - Kami - 07-21-2012

Perspective's ok, though I agree with the head seeming like it's a little big for the style.
