Also I just thought of something I should have specified earlier: A and B don't NECESSARILY mean the keys A and B, there's an A through G that the game uses as possible button inputs in engine. I think that A is actually A by default, but B is something like S.

Anyway, gotta go back to work now. Play the crap out of it and unearth it's flaws. It won't be too hard. o:

There's no use bringing up what you're going to do.
Give us something to provide feedback on. The reason most of these projects die is because everyone just talks about what would be cool, but nothing's actually produced.

Before we go crazy coming up with ideas, let's at least solidify a few. Gors and Nicktendo have some, and if you want to be an assist, go ahead an make it so we can help you.

Don't worry too much about whether people will mind, as long as you cover the minimum requirements, I don't think there's a problem with you jumping in. As a matter of fact, it seems I'm slightly newer than you, and my sprites got good reception, so go for it!

I would suggest you at least aim for an assist first (at least covering the necessary sprites for an assist) before you do a full-fledged character. Because, unless you are totally devoted or have an inhuman amount of concentration, finishing a complete sheet is much less likely than just finishing the assist sheet. That said, you are free to do as you like!

Extended the range of Neko's kicks. The chain is: Back Kick > Kick 1 > Kick 2. You can start with Back Kick for a 3-Hit combo, or Kick 1 for a 2-hit. (I tested the animation and decided it no longer chains into Forward Kick (Roll Attack))
Explainings de Punches: His punches (a.k.a. scratches) compensate for their short range by having quick execution. His spinning attack (Jump Punch/Third Punch) is similar to Mewtwo's electric Air Neutral-A attack in Melee in the sense that it covers him for the most part. Attacking him would result in taking damage, unless you use projectiles.

as a special, that punch still seems weak. i made an edit of what should be done in order to make it look strong.

then again, range is another problem. being a special, it should give lots of damage and be quick since neko is a quick character. i made another animation to suggest this change.

I've been getting the feeling that the boxing glove had been more meant to be a Shoryuken kind of motion (which is how it works in my demo). Recme's looks more like a charging Gognio move.

It is meant to be a kind of Shoryuken, except Neko moves more diagonally.

It moves more diagonal in engine than the traditional Shoryuken , give it a try and let me know what you think.
