That's not what my character is. He's supposed to be having fun. Think "Tails" in Sonic the Fighters. He's a little kid having fun. Not some guy wanting to crush peoples' skulls after they're already torn in half by a giant robotic King Kong.

I know you're trying to help. I'm sorry if I come off as obnoxious, snotty, bratty, etc. Whenever I talk, people see/hear emotions that I'm not trying to express. So I'm sorry if this comes across as hateful or rude. Shy

It's your character, so design is up to you. Take edits like these with a grain of salt as it indeed alters the character and design, but I think the lesson is more anatomy related.
My input: People already have commented on the back foot. It's a really awkward angle for a foot to be in related to the position of the leg. Try to make the heel face the camera/screen more and the nose away.
What HtE presented was actually the exact opposite, changing the entire posture based around the position of the feet.

It looks much better, but what I meant is that the way he's ducking looks like he's sitting on a chair. Also the back of the leg is way too thick. Try ducking in front of a mirror and look at your position, the way your knees bend and so on. In a fighting game like this, I don't think someone would duck with his hands near his pants. I think you should put them nearer to his face. Hope this helps.

Anyway, I think I'm going to keep it the way with the full rotation, because I think the rug's transition out flowed smoother.
And with that, all punches are done!
All that's left are the 6 kicks, special #3, and the grab attack! (I'm considering redoing the idle, but I'll save that for the end).

completely missed the point of that post. that point being the pose of your character is really awkward at the moment
but ignoring that, it's not like it'd be very hard to just edit the face and make him look like a happy cheerful kid! (granted, now it looks like his head isn't attached, you get my point)

Well for now, I'm updating the unfinished parts of my character such as the briefcase attack and the walking. I also made some little changes to the idle (mostly around the legs).

Yeah, yeah, okay.

First off, his chest is really distorted. It looks like he has a tumour on his shoulder. Secondly his limbs are somewhat noodley, particularly his arms. Make sure they are straight until the elbow. Thirdly, when he crouches, his legs become thinner, to the point where they are barely as thick as sticks. Fourthly, he looks generally off balance, like he's leaning backwards, though fixing the torso issue will probably help with this.

Try to make the face move in the run. Either have the head bob or make the face turn as he runs. Right now it looks really static.

if you're just gonna act like it's a chore to comment on sprites that people have made, why fuckin bother? not even the next post you made actually told him how to, you know, FIX anything. you can point out flaws until you're red in the face but unless it's made clear how to fix those flaws, nothing is gonna get accomplished except making yourself look like a dick

I stopped working on the other guy, and instead put my OC from a game I'm trying to develop. C+C would help.
