Loving the new idle! Try moving the hair slightly. You can get away with keeping the arms static, but the hair needs some movement.

Is this any better? There was more, but it was too distracting from the main movement.

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Baegal - 06-24-2012

Try moving the uppermost "back spike"

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Virt - 06-24-2012

That's what I removed because it was too distracting, lol.

Probably due to the fact that we have three Azumanga Daioh moes (if there are more, correct me if I'm wrong), and there are a few others that are from other series based on an anime he/she liked, so that could be the case.

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Tellis - 06-24-2012

Er, Konata is from Lucky Star? And actually no one has done a Lucky Star character for their Midnight Moe yet, as far as I know?

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Gaia - 06-24-2012

Yes, Konata is from the anime Lucky Star, and I don't belive anyone did a Lucky Star moe as of yet.

that leg in the back doesnt really make much sense, anatomically speaking. plus for that stance to work, you'd have to move your knees as well.

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - BullockDS - 06-24-2012

Hey, I've got a question that's probably pretty stupid, but I just wanna ask anywhoos to be safe: am I allowed to make more than one Helper character, assuming I take the initiative to sprite and plan them out?

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Baegal - 06-25-2012

I think so. I don't really see why not.

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Previous - 06-25-2012

As seen over here, I've put the TFR palette into a PAL-file (right-click, save). Dropping this here too in case someone else would find it convenient but wouldn't know how to perform it.
It's a standard palette format so it should work fine not only with GraphicsGale, but also with GIMP, Photoshops and whatever program you have with proper palette support.

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Gors - 06-25-2012

Trollerskates, your sprite is good but check everyone's C+C, as they're valid. Also, to add on their criticism, please keep your anatomy consistent. Your head in the frozen sprite is much smaller than the actual idle. Either shrink his head on the idle, or make his head bigger on the frozen sprite.

sorry to say, but it looks really akward, you should put a motion blur or something because it dosn't look good if it's immediatly shifting from Idle to Duck, the left leg is all crooked, and the pattern of the pants is also misshappen, it also doesn't look like he's ducking, maybe try doing a different pose?

RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Baegal - 06-25-2012

Everything Torch said is valid, but I wouldn't add a motion blur for such a quick animation; it'd be unnecessary. Just try squeezing another frame in to transition the two.
