Sprites to Bead Spriter - Méchant PP - 02-10-2012

Hi spriters !

By hoping i'm at the good place...

So I'm a bead spriter and i'm looking for models. I'm fond of "Metal Slug"...

Is it possible to use your model and how ? Pictures are very small and it isn't easy to see clearly the colors and the number of those sprites. Maybe it's possible to have bigger pictures... What are the conditions ?

Thanks for your answer(s)

Méchant PP

copied this thread and goldmined it

Probably you're talking about those colored beads that fuse together with water so you can make keychains and such. If yes, just go to tSR main site and copy the sprite you want. I don't believe there are any restrictions for it, as long as you give credit to the original ripper.

I think he's talking about zooming in to see the colors and dimensions of the sprite.

Just copy/paste it into paint and magnify.

A video to understand :

Thank to Bob Kitten, i'll try with Paint. I have already magnified with Picassa bud the final picture wasn't very distinct. Maybe it'll be better with Paint or PS.
Thank to Gors and Ray too.

PS : Sorry for my english, i' m french...

no problem, Méchant PP.

I understand your problem now; MS Paint will do the job pretty well at magnifying the sprites without quality loss. XP Paint can even access 10x zoom via a bug, but I think you'll be fine with the usual 8x.

In case you're interested, open up XP Ms paint, click on the magnifier tool and click on this spot marked with the red arrow:

this will enable the 10x zoom.

It 's perfect with PS !

Thank you Gors for the tip/Paint.

I'll make a donation to the site, it's very great to have so much sprites !
Good job, respect.

I'll put my futur "creations" on my Deviant Art account ( http://mechantpp.deviantart.com/ )
