I kinda really want to play this game, I kinda live off of character development so I'd probably be good at critique for it.

For a freeware game done by 'kids' or not pros it's pretty damn good, though I kinda wish they drew out the bgs. The photos aren't bad, they make the drawn chars and etc stand out mor...though I doubt this would have been finished at all if they tried going that route.

I really feel like the game's character art could have been less well... generic anime and something a little more stylized, personally.
that's just my opinion anyways but then again who am I to complain about graphics herp derp.

They don't needs to be pros to be good at it. Also not having a computer in the house to run it on kinda puts a damper on things now doesn't it?

I just played through Rin's path and well... I honestly liked it. The actual prose could have been a lot better (Hisao is the king of stupid sounding similes) but I feel like the story/plot itself and the characters were pretty well done.
Probably not going to do any of the other paths in case they're annoying or disappointing :c
and I agree with Dio that a less generic anime style would have been cool, but eh, it is the dating sim genre...

I'd love to but I do kinda need a computer to do it on. I'd use Mom's computer but it refuses to connect to the internet and I don't think I can play it on a ppc mac so yeah.

Going to see if I can do Hanako's path.
Also I did a little research on Misha and found out they in fact made her have a mixture of ADHD and OCD. Which honestly, seems rather fitting given the way she acts. Was shocked to see her not have Asperger Syndrome however.

katawa shoujo runs on ren'py
ren'py works on OSX both x86 and PPC
