Mortal Kombat 9 - MikeyLevi - 08-07-2011

So I've found a way to rip Mortal Kombat 9 models, as you can see here:

I will be ripping all that I can and be submitting them.
Does anyone know how to batch convert .tga to .png?

RE: Mortal Kombat 9 - Friedslick6 - 08-08-2011

Format Factory can do that.

RE: Mortal Kombat 9 - yoyonerd - 08-08-2011

whoa, isnt too early for this kind of thing?.. i though people would be able to rip this after 2 years after the relase.. nice job man! you are a speedemon!

lemme ask you this... does the game process the models with the skeleton and nerves polygons already loaded... or those 3D elements are only loaded to the model when they need to apear (like in the xray attacks or fatalities for example)

edit: oh and about converting tga to jpg or pgn

you can use a program called irfan view, its free and it can opens all existing kinds of img files and save then in all other kinds.. one heck of a viewer

Those parts are included on the model, and are shown/hidden when activated by the game. The only entirely seperate models are the muscle models.
Also, you may prefer ddsview if you want a simpler image convertor.

RE: Mortal Kombat 9 - GrimmJeel - 08-09-2011

I too downloaded MK9, do you think we can both upload different models ?

RE: Mortal Kombat 9 - MikeyLevi - 08-09-2011

So the "Noob.psk" contains the normal model, AND the damage model. Resulting in an outstanding amount of groups.
Sorting through them might take some time. Its like this with all the characters. I already found something that can convert the .tga's.
@GrimmJeel Exactly what do you mean?

I'll be ripping the main Roster.
So anything that doesn't have CHAR in front of it you can do.

Does anyone have plans for the DLC resources?

RE: Mortal Kombat 9 - MikeyLevi - 08-13-2011

If you can get your hands on the DLC I'll rip them.

But the DLC content is easily obtainable... I do have Freddy Krueger and Skarlet's DLC packages on hand.
