[FANGAME][IN DEVELOPMENT] TMNT M.U.G.E.N Fighting Game Project - 10o - 01-25-2011

Hi everyone!

I'am working on a TMNT Fighting Game on the mugen engine (which most of you might know, for the others -> its a engine to create fighting games Tongue )

Most of the sprites will be from Turtles in Time, but in addtion to that tons of edited sprites from other TMNT Games from various systems.

I will be kept qiute classical not to extrem concerning Ultramoves and stuff like new Fighting games.

The controls for the characters will be:
- 3 Basic Attacks (weak, middle, strong)
- Taunt
- 3 Special Moves
- 2 Intros (one normal Intro, one Based on the "homestage" of the character
- 1-2 Winposes
- Some Winquotes
- maybe 1 Super Special move (thougth about somthing like the Panic Attack in Tournament Fighters SNES)

Every character will have his own stage.

I'am still not sure who will get in the roster (many are allready definitly in, but I might add some others)
Some characters might only appear in the Backgrounds:

I'am planning to make coustom get-hit states for Ice/Shock/Oooze Attacks for each character (like in Turtles in Time)

I will take a looooong time too finish because of busy real life + I'am currently switching to a newer version of Mugen.

Here are some Screenshots:

I'll keep you updated!

P.S. I'am allways looking for spriters who are willing to help (for some move edits and stuff)

...don't know if want

I mean, I like how you're sticking to the Turtles In Time theme, but...for some reason I honestly think the SNES Tournament Fighters lifebars would work a lot better. Plus, in a game with goofy characters you at least have a small place to allow the characters to look totally epic Tongue
That and you'd have no problem implementing the Panic bar from Tournament Fighters

Though honestly, the "oozed" sprite made me chuckle and get an awesome idea, which makes no sense but doesn't HAVE to.
Finishing moves SO EPIC they cause your opponent to de-evolve :E
Instead of actually killing the opponent/dismembering/decapitating etc. you de-evolve your opponent, resulting in them running offscreen in embarassment (Baxter Stockman turning into a human and running off, Bebop into a warthog, etc.)

And I LOVE the obscure character cameos Heart Mondo Gecko and Screwloose, though they could use a bit of work :{
For the ultimate in obscure 90's cartoon additions you should toss Mona Lisa in there, who made being a female amphibian cool before Venus did

what did you do to Ace Duck though, he looks like
a duck version of M. Bison with Sephiroth wings @_@
[I think he'd look just fine without the wings IMO]

Yo don't have to. The main person I'am creating this project for is myself. But of course I will share it public when done, so those who are interested can try out.

Strict no to Tornament Fightes Lifebar. The Arcade Style Bars won't change much. I like them how they are. But I guess I'll find a solution for some kind of Panik bar (wich maybe is only displayed when the move is do-able, I had in mind it would only do-able with less than 1/4 of life)

Funny idea, but the oozed state is only for the endboss Supershredder, who might geht a little tougher than the other characters. I will be an instant kill attack of him (like in Turtles in Time)

Yeah I know, the sprites aren't to great, I know I'am not a good spriter, but IMO they could fullfill their jobs as Background characters.
Concerning Mona Lisa: Do you know a good base to edit her?

Ok I'll remove the wings. I've added them because of the action figure I had back than as a kid, they where quite large as fas as I remember.
You where close whith Bison Big Grin the body actually comes from Charlie (From Street Fighter ,too)

Thanks for the suggetions & critics
