RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Garamonde - 02-23-2013

it's only been a day lol. as I've said to Novally, often people are either not online (especially now since it's the weekend), they have nothing to say or... they're just not on for different reasons.
if you have actual updates it's okay to post soon after your previous one but otherwise it's wise to wait a bit longer.

Here the next update.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Previous - 03-02-2013

The transparent pixels between the sword's grip and guard look odd to me, I'd just make them black, otherwise they don't really look connected.
As for link, the roundness of his feet is weird, I'd suggest making theit bottom all even as in the original sprite and the side view, as in, add the corner pixels. Making the back-bent leg all black may help to make it look less as if it would shrink.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Thanatos-Zero - 03-02-2013

Everything has now been changed arccording to what you have seen as flawed. Also the sheet includes now the Magic Wand.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Previous - 03-02-2013

I was actually referring to the front/back view feet, haha Tongue
Good work though.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Thanatos-Zero - 03-02-2013

I have been doing for infidelity slashing sprites, however he can only use now the 8x16 versions.
Depending what is available, just one 8x16 tile from the diagonal swords below, will to be used for all the diagonal attacks.
Now I am tired... [Image: sleepy-smiley.gif]

Edit:I couldn't sleep, so I added more swords in.

Update. If the Link sprites are okay, this will be the last update on the sheet. After Link, I will move on to edit the overworld monsters.

Time for overworld monsters.

First in line the Octorok.

Well as you can see, I couldn't reinvent the wheel so to speak.
The LA Octorok was already very pretty and as such I couldn't make it much better.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Previous - 03-08-2013

Can you try to add the two front legs? The original one had eight legs and I think yours should, too! The back legs could be a bit more stubby as the body would cover most of them.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Thanatos-Zero - 03-08-2013

Thank you as usuall almighty progenitor. Smile

Anything what else what needs to be changed?
Which of my Octoroks looks more appealing?

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Previous - 03-09-2013

The bottom ones!!!11

I think the left one's back legs are too big and the right one's front legs could be further back and the back legs don't have any movement in the animation. Maybe something between those two would be nice.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Thanatos-Zero - 03-10-2013

I finished now the Octorok and added two sprites into Link's spritesheet, which I have forgotten before.
Now to focus on the other enemies.

RE: Thanatos-Zero Sprite Workshop - Gors - 03-10-2013

The item get poses look kinda emotionless. Try moving his face 1px up to make it look like he's actually looking up.

If you look at it another way, it's almost as if he's RUNNING from the octorock mid-animation. :p

Yea, it kinda does need to be fixed so that Link doesn't come off as a coward.
