RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - TreeStar - 01-30-2011 07:57 PM The names for every new pokemon sounding vastly shitty is nothing new, as some said before. Check out gen 4 and a little bit of 3, there were a variety of names that sounded like gibberish. Ether way, I hardly nickname any of the pokemon I get at all, I'm just to lazy to bother doing it. RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Cell Shaded Envy - 01-30-2011 08:01 PM On that note, Scar's VA in Brotherhood is doing the voice for some guy in whatever tournament Ash is in right now. Episode probably already aired but whatever Also, you're naming Goruugu Alphonse, right Rose? And Europe, you're getting a DSi with Reshiram and Zekrom on it RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Rosencrantz - 01-31-2011 10:08 PM (01-30-2011 08:01 PM)Homunculus Wrote: Also, you're naming Goruugu Alphonse, right Rose? You know it~ RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - NICKtendo DS - 02-02-2011 09:52 PM I don't usually post here, but since I saw the official English names of the 5th gen Pokémon on Serebii, I have this to say: Timburr Gurdurr Conkeldurr Believe it or not, but those are actually Pokémon names! You know what else is a Pokémon name? Haxorus! Best. Pokémon name. EVER! RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Battpoke - 02-02-2011 10:25 PM Is it only me or does the world map really looks unnatural? I mean, just take a serious look on it: big ice mountains on the west and east, surrounded by green woods? Not even a little bit snow there, no, the ice/snow just stops and trees begin to grow. And at the south near the big city: a desert, surrounded by water. Does this make sense? I do not want to critisize the game, but this map seriously is strange. RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Chdonga - 02-02-2011 10:54 PM Yeah, it seems the regions are trying harder and harder to seem like an entire planet as each new gen comes along. Heck, just take a look at Hoenn and Sinnoh. See how the environment changes so quickly? It is based on America so those are the Appalachian and Rocky Mountain Ranges. Big City also sounds like Nevada or any more south west states where there is a desert but the ocean is there too (I understand that Nevada is inland). Blame America's national Geography if you don't like it. You do realize that until a certain height trees will keep growing, and then it looks as if suddenly they're cut off and the crests are covered in snow. You act like you've never seen actual mountains. Also It looks like thats ocean water. You've never heard of Saudi Arabia and the two countries under it, they're surrounded by water but are desert climates. Perfectly logical and not strange at all. RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - AuraPigOnStilts - 02-15-2011 08:42 AM I just pre-ordered Black yesturday, to arrive on March 4th! RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - GrooveMan.exe - 02-17-2011 03:29 PM As a contraction of 'Concrete Elder'. The japanese name makes the exact same pun. RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Sengir - 02-18-2011 05:51 PM I was only gonna get White, but with the more drastic version differences I pre-ordered both. RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Tonberry2k - 02-20-2011 12:00 AM Timburr Gurdurr Conkeldurr Why not "Cindurr"? As in cinder block? Come on, Nintendo. RE: Pokémon Black & White (be warned: spoilers) - Koopaul - 02-20-2011 12:16 AM I must say Tonberry you are much better at this than Nintendo can be.
