RE: Music Picks - soulcaliburfan - 12-09-2009

my bad... My point still remains that it is important to the series.

I actually have an extreme dislike for Beware the Forest Mushrooms as a victory loop. Sure, the loop should be mellow, like an after-battle orchestra, but this actually sounds more as if we're (still) adventuring, not relaxing after a hard battle.

And it's not only the type of music used, it's the melody. You can't spruce it up, because otherwise it would actually become a battle music.

Hmm, that's the song that springs to mind when people say "Geno" though. Any other ideas? Star Hill?

RE: Music Picks - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-09-2009

I was thinking we could use the looping part of the victory theme from SMRPG, just slowed down a bit.

RE: Music Picks - Koopaul - 12-09-2009

You guys are probably against this but perhaps it would be easier to make one loop per franchise instead of character... Just a thought.

RE: Music Picks - Kitsu - 12-09-2009

It would be easier, but where's the fun in that?

RE: Music Picks - Koopaul - 12-09-2009

Its not going to be much fun when we have to find/make 60 loop songs that might not even be nesessary.

RE: Music Picks - Bazzoka - 12-09-2009

I guess it boils down to: Is it easy to loop a song?

EDIT:
Now that I think about it, the way you're saying it... makes it sound like having different victory fanfares for each character is a better idea then a loop.

Of course they're not necessary, but they add flair. Anyway, as far as I know, no one has had much difficulty with the matter of getting them together yet, so I'm not really seeing a problem.

To add to that, the only one that should be complaining is the one who's composing the songs.

Hey, that's me!

Seriously, don't sweat it. I find myself a terrible spriter, despite others saying otherwise, so I could still help out here by providing the music.

RE: Music Picks - Negative-Zer0 - 12-09-2009

If theres like 10-11 new series won't we only need about 10 fanfares?

RE: Music Picks - GaryCXJk - 12-10-2009

I've updated the first post to include description of each type of music, including the loop jingle. Anyone who still has something to remark on that should be falcon punched out of this topic, by which I mean should just leave this topic, as reading is not made for that person.

RE: Music Picks - D2S-Speed - 12-10-2009

StarFox Adventures didn't get enough reps in Brawl maybe we can add a song from there.

RE: Music Picks - GaryCXJk - 12-10-2009

Well, Krystal's theme from SFA:DP is going to be used in her loop, and I imagine we could add some more music to it. Also, a good way to represent it is by use of Assist Trophy.

Also, I hate Animal Crossing. Its BRSAR is completely different than any other I've seen.

RE: Music Picks - Kitsu - 12-10-2009

BRSAR? What's that?
