RE: Music Picks - Ton - 12-07-2009

I couldn't listen to all of it. It killed my ears. :/ Sorry.

RE: Music Picks - Cshad - 12-07-2009

Can we start suggesting music for stages or do you want to wait until everything else is out of the way?

RE: Music Picks - Zoo Monkey - 12-07-2009

I love that wario one from the fist post.
It was in the Wario gamecube one right??
Hey try softening that koopalings song sky_blue, It might sound a bit better

It's really no use if we don't have any stages to suggest music for, is it?

Also, I think it would hardly matter Zoo Monkey. Unless the standard of this game is "no standard", the song really needs a lot of work-up.

And I know some quality. Why else would I download various VSTis together with my porn?

But otherwise, I see nothing wrong with your list.

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot about NSMB/Wii. Yeah, something from that could also be used. Isn't there a short theme that plays in NSMBWii when Bowser Jr. kidnaps Peach from Larry's castle?
No, just speaking gibberish and then flying off.
If you want, though, here is his boss theme. We could pick something from that to turn into a victory theme.

RE: Music Picks - Koopaul - 12-07-2009

I think victory loops should be something calm and slow.

Also we can't decide BGM until we have stages picked out. It wouldn't make sense.

For the most part, I agree with this. They should imply completeness and rest, as well as providing a contrast against the typically fast-paced music heard during the battles.

RE: Music Picks - Koopaul - 12-07-2009

If we can't find anything for that character we can slow down a song a bit. That's pretty easy.

RE: Music Picks - Ton - 12-07-2009

It should also be a victorious theme though.

RE: Music Picks - Cshad - 12-07-2009

Victory themes should be a "FUCK YEAH I WON IN YOUR FACE" type theme not a "Ok...I won...time to calm down now, no reason to get excited."

RE: Music Picks - Kitsu - 12-07-2009

Roy (I can't say his name without flinching) loop: (FE 6)(FE7)

They're both the same song, just FE7 did everything better than FE 6, so I linked to that one, too.

@App, except, neither of the existing victory loop songs in SSB64 or SSBB are all that excited.

If you listen to the victory loop in Brawl, its not fast and "PAAAARTAY" its more noble.

RE: Music Picks - Kitsu - 12-07-2009

Besides, the "YEAH I WON!" theme is the victory fanfare.

RE: Music Picks - Koopaul - 12-07-2009

Listen to Samus and Fox's loop on the first post, that's how they should sound.

RE: Music Picks - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-07-2009

But they also have to be fitting for the character.

Which is why I think my ideas for Mario, Waluigi, Wario, and Sukapon would work.
