RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Koopaul - 12-11-2009

Too early to do work from Spirit Tracks especially if they're spoilers.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Ton - 12-11-2009

By the time the game is done it'll hardly be a spoiler anymore. I think it'd be a shame to have Toon Link in the game and ignore his newest game. The spirit Tracks stage and an AT sound like the right amount of representation to me.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Koopaul - 12-11-2009

Yeah I guess you're right but I think he's suggesting a Final boss or something.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Chaoxys - 12-11-2009

And even if it is too new, there are a few commo things in both ST and PH that could be used.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Koopaul - 12-11-2009

It think a stage would be cool. You're on the tracks that disappear and reappear. The train will ride through shooting you ouch...

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Ton - 12-11-2009

I think fighting on the train as it moves through different environments would be better. Though that's better said in the other topic.

Took a crack at it. I need help with this

What about the Whirlwind in my moveset? Or will that be replaced?

Why not use the M&L3 sprite for a ref? It has more detail imo

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - mutantyoshi - 12-11-2009

I fixed the face, and the legs/feet, I tried to fix the robe, since on the official art, it is torn in a few places, so yeah, also I added his modern look, of the face, so yeah...

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Ton - 12-11-2009

I think the M&L3 one has a better design.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Neslug - 12-11-2009

Yeah the second one is better. But I think it would be even better if it was done in the same sideways style as the playable characters.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - mutantyoshi - 12-11-2009

thats what I had in an earlier post. BIS style, while having him sideways.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Chaoxys - 12-11-2009

I'm still trying to think of a possible way for Linebeck to be in as an AT since spoiler:he's in both PH and ST.

I'm thinking he could work somewhat like Munchlax where he runs about stealing items, not only off the ground, but from players (this includes items that you wear), and tripping players in the process. I was also thinking that sometimes, instead of tripping other players to take their items, he might use an item that he took from another character or that was lying around.

Idk, jsut some ideas.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Shadowth117 - 12-13-2009

These are some pretty good ideas for characters. Is everybody okay if I just put them straight on the first post or should I write that they're spoilers and put them in white text?

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Ton - 12-13-2009

I'd just put them straight up there. If we're working on a game, spoilers come with the territory. I don't want to have to tiptoe around everyone who doesn't know the outcome of a game.
