Gamecube Model Ripping Tools !!!
#1
Smile OK first thing, download the tools needed for ripping models. I these where not links made by me I'm just reposting them! In case the links don't work in the future the name of the things you need is right above it! Wink

1: GC Tool or a GameCube model viewer (anything that can extract stage models or character models.)

2: Thakis other tools:

3: BMD Viewer or BMDview2

And a GameCube ISO. NOTE: Third party GameCube games aren't guaranteed to work with the GC tool the only games that seem to work are the first party games made by Nintendo. Sunshine, windwaker, twilight princess, luigi's mansion yada yada yada Cute

Is this a tutorial? You probably should teach us show how to use these resources instead of just leaving them there.
EDIT: Nevermind.

Maybe a link to the website where we could download these tools would be better as some people like me don't like direct downloads. Paranoia and whatnot.

You can use the tools linked in your post to open approximately 2 models from Luigi's Mansion. One is a hand and the other is a door, if I remember correctly.

People I tried my best to track these tools down. So I'm sorry if the links aren't the best. BUT! these are all tools needed for ripping 3d models from First Party Gamecube games.

Sorry dude, I have to admit a direct download does make some people worry about viruses and stuff. But I actually made sure these downloads were safe before posting them. I Scan my computer with Norton Security Suit and Spy bot Search And Destroy. I didn't post these links myself I'm just reposting them so I can't guarantee their safe BUT! I did it once after each download. I just wanted to post the links to these tools because Mega Upload was the only site that had them. I don't even like mega upload I like media fire. But since mega upload was the only site with these tools and it is now gone people have been looking for links to them.
For anyone looking for resources for a fangame or something. These tools rock and I don't feel like letting them die.

Uh, the original link for these tools were on the Emutalk forums, but now they are hosted by the creator of BMDview at http://www.amnoid.de/gc/index.html.

So these .arc files are supposed to be viewable when extracted in 3D modelling software?
