Spriters needed for Sailormoon game - rgveda99 - 09-12-2012

I'm currently working and supervising on creating a beat em up Sailormoon S game and we need volunteers for spriters. Also working with 2 other programmers one for openbor and another one using JAVA(previously game maker). Unfortunately commissions are unavailable at this time. But hopefully in the future there will be. Depending on the number of spriters joining the project the graphical style of the game will be the Sailormoon arcade beat em up game, SNES Sailormoon R game or Waku Waku 7.

Seeing that the one demo is register-to-download, could you also add some screenshots instead?

The second link doesn't jump to the actual post you meant to link, but just onto the start of page 3. You may want to link to the demo instead of a different forum where people would have to search for it instead. Again, screenshots would be nice so users can get a direct preview without having to download a demo from somewhere first.

It would also be nice to have more information than just "beat em up". Is it going to have a story mode, are there special attacks, that kind of things.

Kles' game is more like a fusion of both features of a fighting game and a beat em up complete with roman cancels, air juggle combo, air dashing, parrying and just defend.

Mrgrill's game is more similar to the original arcade game but added command specific special abilities like healing, projectile, time stop and temporary invulnerability which can only be used when acquiring crystals. Additional characters were also added in the game.

As for the game I'm working with Shinausagi777 for the Sailormoon S game what was originally planned was to have a special meter to use special abilities for each sailor soldier once the meter is full. Another feature is the roll dodge for evading enemies and projectiles. Pretty much similar to this one that was recently released in the link below.

Forgot to mention my own project which is basically a fighting game using 2d fighter maker. I'm basically learning the software but the lack of sprites was a problem. Spriting is too time consuming for me and need additional help.

I've already commissioned someone at sailormoonforum to do an arcade version of Saturn last year.

itll b nice to have a thread here. hopefully we can get more people to help us sprite the daimons and stages so this can get done faster. ^o^

i'm pretty sure you dont need spriters, seeing you have done faily ok by just editing sprites from NeoGeo figthers.
